Herring Girls: Greater Than We Are Alone

A song cycle celebrating the inspiring legacy of the herring girls’ protest over fair pay on Lowestoft Beach in 1936. Performed on that same beach as part of the First Light Festival, by 40 members of intergenerational community choirs from all across Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
